FATHERS GET CUSTODY OF THEIR CHILDREN IN NORTH CAROLINA?
| Hello! So glad you stopped by. It's true that more fathers get custody now days than ever before. I will never forget that first case that concluded with my client getting full custody of his children. It felt like a new day and a new way might be on the horizon. Well the fact is, it still does not happen with every case. In North Carolina our Judges do look at each case and decide what is in the best interest of the child. Now I don't know about you but I would not want it to be any other way. I know that all my readers would agree with me that every child need to be in a safe and stable home. How do fathers get custody of their children? Well It has a lot to do with showing evidence to a judge that the mom does not provide a safe or stable environment for the children. Dad's you know your ex and you should know what type of parent your ex is. I hope that all my dads out there want custody of their children because they honestly know in their heart that the ex is not offering the safe and stable situation for their children that is needed. It's wrong to put your children through a court battle just because you want to hurt your ex. Now I know the heading of this post is about dad's but this really applies to the mother and the father. Realize that when you set out for the soul purpose of hurting the other parent you are hurting your children. If you know that your children are not in a safe and stable environment then in that case it is your obligation to protect your children! Just because two people don't love each other any longer is no reason to punish your children. Remember when you conceived your children you had some sort of a warm feeling for the other parent at that time. I can't stress it enough, I believe wholeheartedly that children need their mother and father. In a perfect world children would have equal access to a stable mother and father. Sometimes a parent is just not equipped at the moment to be the parent they need to be. If you believe that your ex is not being the parent they should be I'm always here to help!
